Who we are
We are a group of avid supporters of indoor agriculture and hydroponic growing techniques. Over our accumulated decades of experience growing a variety of crops in small corners of our homes, we hav com to appreciate the importance of automation and monitoring of the grow environment. As serious hobbyist growers and budding IT professionals, we have decided to embark on creating the Node Grow App. Our goal is to bring affordable and reliable automation to every grower around the world. While we are happy to share the source code for the single board computers that would allow anyone (with a little bit of effort) to build their own monitoring/control system, we have also built a company comprised of innovative young professionals who hav built a full suite of features that seamlessly work with single-board computers to give growers the ability to monitor, control and analyze their grow spaces from anywhere in the world… all you need is a computer or a smart phone. Because this task is a huge and constant effort, our team does need to make a living wage, therefore the mobile app/web api has been designed as an affordable subscription service. We hope that by combining both an open source model for our hardware and a subscription model for our services, we can help more people take back control and grow!

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
